#FACT Glow Recipe’s Watermelon sleeping mask ($45) had a waiting list of 5,000 people, and I was one of them. This Korean Beauty product has been flooding my Instagram feed and all beauty bloggers have been raving about it. So I knew I HAD to get my hands of a jar. So I put my name on a waiting list (2 to be exact, the Sephora waiting list & Glow Recipe’s site). A month later, I got an email from Sephora saying it was back in stock (trust me it’s not in stores either) and I literally dropped everything I was doing and raced to my laptop to buy it.
Let me tell you, It smells so freaking good. I am obsessed with watermelon, so I knew I would love this stuff. So what’s in it? It has hyaluronic acid (for hydration) and glycolic acid (for some gentle exfoliation). It isn’t sticky at all! It’s oil-free AND lightweight. While you’re sleeping gentle AHAs are hard at work toning & clarifying your skin. AHAs smooth the surface of the skin by getting rid of dead, rough surface cells. You wake up looking #FLAWLESS. You can use this mask for uneven skin tone, dullness/uneven texture & oiliness. Oh hey summer clogged skin, meet your worst enemy.
Final thoughts: I mean, I’m on a waiting list again. Trying to stock up on this. Completely obsessed. What I like most is it goes on like a moisturizer, so I’m not worried of getting this all over my sheets. When you wake up, it looks like you literally just got a facial and your face is so smooth with no clogged pores at all. The only down side is the bottle is much smaller than what I was expecting (it’s 2.7 fl oz.)– For reference, Fresh’s sleeping masks are 3.3 fl oz.
