Beauty experts tell me that after you turn 21 you should be using eye cream religiously. Why? Because this if the first part of you to age/ show signs of aging. The skin under your eyes is the thinnest and the most delicate. Let’s be real here, we don’t always get 8 hours of sleep every night and we probably aren’t drinking the recommended amount of water every day. (Side note: def try to drink as much water as possible. This will 100% show in your skin if you’re dehydrated. Your skin will look dry and pores will be huge). So what are my fave night time creams?
Best under-eye cream: Tie between Lancome and AHAVA.
AHAVA Dead Sea Osmoter Eye Concentrate ($55) is a triple-charged super-serum for eyes that reduces dark circles, decreases undereye puffiness and moisturizes the eye area. It works by adding more moisture, luminosity and clarity to your skin for a younger, lit-from-within glow. I mean how can you go wrong with products from the Dead Sea?Buy it now:
Lancôme Absolue L’Extrait Ultimate Eye Contour Collection ($260). TBH this is the most bougie item I have in my entire skincare line. I totally didn’t buy this. I went to a Lancôme event and was gifted to me. It is also life changing. The applicator is so luxe. One end, has a scooper for you to get the product and the other end is a roller ball where you can massage the product onto your skin. According to Lancome’s study, using this product you will see see a smoother look to the skin around your eye contour – the texture is visibly improved and the skin tone looks more even. The skin will feel firmer, more elastic skin around your eye contour – nurtured, deeply hydrated and more comfortable. And finally see a fresher, more beautiful eye contour – dark circles seem softened, eye bags appear minimized, signs of fatigue seem visibly reduced.
Best scientific products: Restorsea
Restorsea isn’t a very well known brand, but I am so obsessed with this brand (Ever since 2014). Story time! Okay, so the founder of this brand (Patti) was traveling to Western Norway home to the leading salmon hatcheries. She noticed that the women who worked had the youngest looking hands although their face was showing signs of aging. What she discovered is at birth, baby salmon release an enzyme, Aquabeautine XL, to escape from their shell. This enzyme has two components: a protein and an exfoliant. The protein attaches to a specific area of the egg shell and the exfoliant dissolves the area marked by the protein.
Once finished, the enzyme turns itself off, enabling the baby salmon to exit from its shell unharmed. Most exfoliants work by burning through both dead and living skin cells, producing uncomfortable side effects such as redness, sensitivity to light and peeling of the skin. Conversely, Aquabeautine XL operates by dissolving only dead skin cells, allowing living ones to flourish.
Anchored by this enzyme, Restorsea is the only skincare line that improves skin texture and tone and reduces the appearance of age spots and fine lines without harsh side effects. I mean, mind freaking blown. So anyways back to my fave product, their day cream is so luxe and fab. The most sensitive skin can use this product! I also love the science behind it. Don’t worry it doesn’t smell like fish. My pick: Restorsea Day cream ($150).

Best Sleeping Mask: Fresh’s Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask ($92)
According to Fresh, the Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask works in synch with the skin’s natural nighttime recovery process to achieve a lifted, firmer look by the morning. The intensely moisturizing treatment has a corset-like effect on the skin, giving the appearance of a visibly more defined, contoured complexion. It definitely smells strong. However, I noticed after using it, my skin did seem brighter and pores smaller. I have oily combo skin. But this also works well for normal, combo & dry skin. I use this when I know I need a pick me up the next day. AKA I don’t want dull skin.
